Prof. Rositsa Angelova PhD, head of the “New and Most Recent History” department at the Regional History Museum, called the opening of the exhibition “Shine – from Crystal to Talent” at the “Ananie Yavoshov” House Museum a beautiful and brilliant event.

The exhibition from the “Mineralogy” Fund of the Regional History Museum – Kardzhali is part of the cultural program of the “White Nights of Razgrad” festival.

“We invite you on a journey not only into the depths of the earth, but also into the depths of human admiration for the perfection of nature. In this exhibition, science and aesthetics, knowledge and delight meet, because minerals are not only natural objects, but crystallized history, geological art and a choice of inspiration”, said Prof. Angelova.
In one of the display cases, you can see a bushy lichen from Antarctica with penguin feathers embedded in it. It is a personal donation from polar explorer Prof. Hristo Pimpirev.
The exhibition will remain in Razgrad until the end of September.

After which, some of the awardees participated in a unique spectacle, presenting the multifaceted talents that are developed at the Center.
AMULETS FOR HEALTH AND A DANCE STORY ABOUT THE PAGAN ROOT OF ENYOVDEN AND COMMON ELEMENTS FROM BULGARIAN, TURKISH AND ROMA TRADITIONS
The Ethnographic Museum welcomed its guests not only with the traditional Midsummer wreath, but in addition, everyone could make their own amulet from herbs on the magical night before Midsummer.
This year, the artists from the Theater, Music and Philharmonic Center were symbolic hosts to the guests at the Ethnographic Museum during the first White Night of Razgrad. They presented the dance story “Enchanted Herbs – Balkan Midsummer Night”, which incorporated motifs for the pagan roots of Midsummer, the gathering of herbs, feminine magic and common elements from Bulgarian, Turkish and Roma traditions. Their dance ended by the fire, which those who wished jumped over for health, and others – to take a coal from it home.
