The mobile exhibition of the Regional History Museum – Razgrad “Locked in Time” will be on display until mid-July at the History Museum in Isperih.
The exhibition shows and tells in a different way – with photos and graphics, truly “locked in time” to this day movable cultural values /locking mechanisms and keys/, discovered in ancient Abritus. Its authors are archaeologist Silvia Anastasova and museum designer Mihail Marinov, who designed and arranged the boards.
It is a story about how, over the centuries, people have locked the gates of fortresses, the doors of their homes, and the chests in which they stored documents, seals, valuables, and jewels.
When visiting the History Museum, guests are also challenged to unlock a chest made especially for the exhibition, locked with a puzzle padlock, and take a coin from the golden treasure hidden inside as a souvenir.
