Gold and fire greeted the guests of the second of the “White Nights of Razgrad” – a festival of tangible and intangible cultural heritage. Traditionally, the evening is dedicated to the ancient heritage of Razgrad.
Among the columns of Villa “Urbana”, Deputy Mayor Dobrin Dobrev congratulated the museum workers from the Regional History Museum for preserving the cultural and spiritual heritage of Razgrad. “Museum workers often remain behind the scenes, but they should know that the public is grateful to them for the work they do to preserve our wonderful heritage”, said Dobrin Dobrev. And he especially emphasized that the unique festival, not only in our country, was born before the European Night of Museums. The Deputy Mayor assured that Razgrad Municipality will continue to establish Razgrad as the festival capital of Ludogorie and presented a beautiful bouquet to the director of RHM – Razgrad Tanya Todorova.
Before and after the concert in Villa “Urbana”, hundreds of residents and guests of Razgrad with undisguised curiosity looked at the permanent archaeological exhibition and the Interactive Museum, where the golden mask of the Thracian king Teres from the 5th century BC was exhibited especially for the “White Nights of Razgrad” and the bronze head of the ruler of the Odrysian kingdom Seutus the Third from the 4th-3rd centuries BC from the fund of the History Museum “Iskra” – Kazanlak.
The finale of the second festival evening was the concert in Villa “Urbana” in the heart of ancient Abritus. Girls from the ballet school at the community center “Razvitie”, the pop singer Ivan Gaidarov and the artists from the “TEMP” theater group at the Youth Center – Vratsa participated with the “Light of the Fire” and “Dionysian Ritual” performances.
The “White Nights of Razgrad” festival is organized by the Municipality of Razgrad and the Regional History Museum.
