The innovative event was on the occasion of International Museum Day, May 18
On May 15, an educational quiz with a competitive nature was held at the Interactive Museum in RHM – Razgrad. The event was on the occasion of May 18 – International Museum Day. Museum pedagogue Hristo Hristov – organizer of the quiz, commented that the goal is to unite students through entertainment of such an innovative type, which will enrich their historical culture, mainly about history, archeology, local cultural heritage.

The competition covered the three main periods – antiquity, the Middle Ages – Bulgarian and European, modern history. There were questions of both international and national nature. The quiz also had a fourth round, which was on a local history topic for Razgrad and Ludogorie. The event was part of the activities of the Regional History Museum with schools and educational institutions. Four student teams from Razgrad high school schools participated in the quiz. A team of teachers was also created, at the initiative of their colleague Lyubomir Iliev. The teams consisted of five competitors each. Teams from the PGI “Robert Schumann”, NPTG “Shandor Petyofi”, PGHTBT “Marie Curie”, PPMG “Acad. Nikola Obreshkov” participated. All of them were together with their teachers Elitsa Georgieva, Boris Atanasov, Sunay Yahov, Kristina Krasteva, Borislava Ivanova, Lyubomir Iliev.

The event was opened by the head of the “Administrative and Economic” Department at the Regional Historical Museum, Kalina Karbasheva, who wished success to the participants. Museum pedagogue Hristo Hristov also sent wishes and messages to everyone in the hall for learning about history and culture.

The event was attended by the Chairperson of the Razgrad Municipal Council, Galina Georgieva. Along with her wishes to the student teams, she expressed approval for the local history section included in the quiz, which concerns the local cultural heritage in Ludogorie.
After the contested battle, the two quizmasters Hristo Hristov and Ibrahim Schaef ranked the teams, after adding up the respective number of points. First place was won by the team of PGI “Robert Schumann”, second place was taken by PPMG “Acad. Nikola Obreshkov”, third place was taken by NPTG “Shandor Petyofi”, and fourth place was taken by PGHTBT “Marie Curie”.
