The special prize of the Regional History Museum in Razgrad in the 12th National Student Journalism Competition “Grigor Popov” will go to Stara Zagora to the ninth-grader from TG “Knyaz Simeon Turnovski”.

At the ceremony today, the house museum “Stanka and Nikola Ikonomovi”, the director of RHM – Razgrad Tanya Todorova handed it, along with other gifts from the museum, to the director of the Center for Student Technical and Scientific Creativity Tsvetanka Ruseva, to be sent to the talented girl who was not able to attend the official award ceremony.

The twelfth grader Georgi Dimitrov from MG “Dr. Petar Beron” – Varna and the editorial team of the student newspaper “V@z Buki Vedi” of SU “Ivan Vazov” – Pleven are the winners of the two Grand Awards of the Municipality of Razgrad from the 12th edition of the contest.

In this year’s edition of the creative competition, individual participants and student teams from the second to the twelfth grade from 54 educational institutions from the country and the region took part: from 32 settlements in 19 administrative regions: Blagoevgrad, Burgas, Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Vratsa, Gabrovo, Dobrich , Kardjali, Kyustendil, Pazardjik, Pernik, Pleven, Plovdiv, Razgrad, Sliven, Smolyan, Sofia, Stara Zagora, Targovishte and Shumen.

The competition is organized by the Municipality of Razgrad, the Center for Student Technical and Scientific Creativity, with the assistance of the Regional Department of Education and with the special participation of the Regional History Museum.
