The special award of the Regional History Museum in Razgrad in the fifteenth edition of the Folklore Festival “Kapanska Kitka” was won by the Dance School “Igraortsi” – Ruse. The talents from “Igraortsi” received the prize and advertising materials from the “Public Relations” expert at the museum Georgi Todorov.

Dance Studio “Kalina-Rada” won the Grand Prize of the Mayor of Razgrad Dobrin Dobrev, who personally presented the award to the winners.

Over 300 dancers from 12 formations from the country participated in the next National Festival of Folklore Clubs, organized by the Municipality of Razgrad, “Buzludzha” Community Center and “Abritus” Dance Club.

The festival began with a seminar on the stage of the Municipal Cultural Center. The creator and leader of the Folk Dance Ensemble “Nestini” – Sofia Iliyan Yordanov showed the steps of authentic people from different ethnographic regions of the country.

The tradition of the hosts welcoming their guests with bread and salt and presenting them with a bunch of geraniums was observed. Greetings and thanks to the dance clubs that responded to the invitation to participate in the competition and to everyone who participated in the organization of the festival were given by Emilia Ruseva, one of the artistic directors of the hosts – Dance Club “Abritus”. After which the dancers from “Abritus”, a total of over 80 people on stage, greeted the guests and participants in the celebration with several of their performances.

Last on stage with a few dances were the special guests of the festival – the talents from the Children’s Folklore Dance School “Orisia” – Kavarna, led by Stella Yordanova, wildly applauded by the audience in the hall, who stood up.
