The mobile exhibition of the Regional History Museum “Razgrad legislators /1879-1991/. 145 years of parliamentary life in Bulgaria” is visiting the Courthouse in the capital of Ludogorie.
It was officially opened by the director of RHM – Razgrad Tanya Todorova and the chairman of the District Court Lazar Michev.

Tanya Todorova thanked the magistrates for their hospitality and emphasized that the purpose of the exhibition is for the people of Razgrad and the region to know and remember the Razgrad legislators who actively participated in the creation, construction, and development of the region and the Third Bulgarian State.
The exhibition presents the history of parliamentarism in Bulgaria from the Constituent Assembly in 1879 to the Seventh Grand National Assembly /1990-1991/.

“The emphasis is on the role of the Razgrad constitutionalists in the seven Great National Assemblies. They are presented with their biographies – professional and personal, with photographs and documents on which they worked as lawmakers”, said Tanya Todorova.

A separate board presents the Seventh Grand National Assembly, in which, as members of parliament from the Razgrad multi-mandate electoral district, the former mayor of Razgrad Dencho Boyadzhiev and the former chairman of the Razgrad Municipal Council Stoyan Nenchev signed the current Constitution of the Republic of Bulgaria.

“I am glad that this exhibition is visiting the home of the judiciary, I believe that there are curious people – colleagues, parties to the cases, citizens for whom it would be of interest. What is shown in the exhibition is further proof of the maxim that nothing starts with us and will not end with us”, said the president of the court, Lazar Michev, at the opening.
The exhibition “Razgrad legislators /1879-1991/. 145 years of parliamentary life in Bulgaria.” was opened on April 16, 2024 on the occasion of the Day of the Bulgarian Constitution in the house-museum “Ananie Yavashov”. And then it was presented at the Regional Administration – Razgrad. It will remain in the Courthouse until the end of April and will continue its journey to the district courts in Ludogorie and the courthouses in the regional centers of Northeastern Bulgaria.
The authors of the exhibition are Prof. Rositsa Angelova – head of the “New and Recent History” department at RHM – Razgrad, the museum designer Mihail Marinov and the curator Neno Yakimov.
