The director of the Regional History Museum in Razgrad, Tanya Todorova, received an invitation this year and attended the president’s reception on the occasion of May 24 – Day of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius, of the Bulgarian Alphabet, Education and Culture, and of Slavic Literature.

Among those invited to the traditional event at the National History Museum was Daniela Petrova – senior expert at the Regional Center “Chitalishta” – Razgrad.

“It is an honor for me to be your hosts on the day of the brightest, most beloved Bulgarian holiday”. This was stated by President Rumen Radev in his welcoming speech at the traditional reception hosted by the head of state and his wife Desislava Radeva on the occasion of the most Bulgarian holiday. The event was held at the National History Museum in Sofia and was attended by public figures, cultural, educational and scientific figures, members of parliament, constitutional judges, journalists and others.

Among the guests are also representatives of Bulgarian media from abroad, participants in the 20th World Meeting of Bulgarian Media, organized by BTA.

“I am glad to see so many distinguished Bulgarians in one place. People who, with talent, dedication and personal presence, shape the face of our society”, said the head of state in his welcoming remarks.

Bulgaria is recognizable and valued for its contribution to the future, and Bulgarians impress with their strength of spirit and innovation, and with their scientific achievements, added President Radev, quoted by BTA.

“That is why, from the small village school to our most prestigious universities and academies, we stand united today with devotion to education and knowledge and with the faith that our homeland will endure”, he added, congratulating those present on the holiday.

The President addressed the teachers, educators, scientists, researchers, creators, artists and writers, representatives of library, community center and museum work with words of deep gratitude.
