Students from PGSS “S. Rumyantsev” – Lukovit, PGSS “N. Pushkarov” – Popovo, PMG “Y. Gagarin” – Ruse and their hosts from NPTG “Shandor Petjofi” – Razgrad in the next module of the National Program “Innovations in Action” visited the objects of the Regional History Museum on the territory of ancient Abritus.

Tour guides Viktoria Valcheva, Svetlana James and museum pedagogue Hristo Hristov presented them with the permanent archaeological expedition, the possibilities of the Interactive Museum and accompanied them on a walk through the remains of Abritus.

High school students and their teachers took a souvenir photo in Roman clothes, copied ancient Roman culinary recipes, struck their own Roman coin, played ancient games and had fun with questions and answers about the lives of those who once lived in Abritus in a special corner in the Interactive Museum .

The national program “Innovations in Action” provides opportunities for mobility, site visits, demonstrations and the observation of innovations in schools that are partners in the program. The aim is to share good experience between them.

This year the program is aimed at supporting schools and teachers implementing innovative activities through the creation of innovative learning environments, the classroom, innovative teaching methods, as well as schools with innovative practices and those with the potential to develop innovations in the field of finance literacy, ecology and green energy, integrated knowledge, personal development of students and positive education.
