A pre-Christmas meeting was held today by the director of the Regional History Museum Tanya Todorova and Prof. Rositsa Angelova PhD – head of the “New and Latest History” department, with the members of the Center for Regional History, which from the beginning of November is in the house museum “Acad. Ananie Yavashov”.
The joint initiatives that will be implemented in the coming year 2023 were discussed at the meeting. And Miroslava Katsarova provided her author’s local studies to the Center.
After the discussion, Prof. Angelova presented each with an autographed copy of her latest book “Historical Education through the Renaissance”. The luxury multi-page calendar for 2023 on the theme of Ethnography, illustrated with ornaments stored in the museum’s collection, was also added to the gift bags.
The meeting ended with wishes for health, bright Christmas holidays, and a happy and successful New Year.
We remind you that the Center for Regional History is the successor of the “Local Lore” club established on Museum Day in 2021, and the founders were 15 people – long-term researchers of the past of various settlements or the development of the region in a specific area in Ludogorie.
