Over 200 children from first to fourth grade from various Razgrad schools participated in a Martenitsa Workshop, organized for them by the Regional History Museum, this time in collaboration with “Prosveta” community center – Topchii village.

Under the guidance of museum pedagogue Hristo Hristov, tour guide Svetlana Jeim, Penka Dimitrova from the administrative and economic department, the secretary of the community center in Topchii Katya Lapatova, and master craftswoman Donka Ivanova, they made martenitsa with the figures of Pijo and Penda or a bracelet, which they then took home.

At the Ethnographic Museum, the girls and boys learned legends about martenitsa, as well as how the Kapans made their spring symbols.
