Prof. Rositsa Angelova PhD opened today in the Interactive Museum the first doctoral and postdoctoral readings on the problems of cultural heritage.

The forum was part of the events on the occasion of the International Day of Museums and is dedicated to two significant anniversaries: the 40th anniversary of the Archaeological Reserve “Abritus” and the 90th anniversary of the death of Ananie Yavashov.

“On the eve of the holiday of museum workers, it is nice to start a tradition in our museum for holding these readings. Because the popularization of the cultural wealth and the historical past goes through serious studies, and doctoral students and postdoctoral students are the ones who have their place in these studies”, said Prof. Angelova.

The participants were welcomed by the vice-rector of the Shumen University Assoc. Prof. Konstantin Konstantinov – a special guest of the forum. He wished success and longevity of the readings and an increase in the number of participants in it to a national scale. And the quality reports of young scientists find their place in luxury editions after that.

Razgrad Deputy Mayor Elka Nedelcheva emphasized that she has the honor to attend another interesting and significant initiative of the Regional History Museum under the leadership of director Tanya Todorova. “This forum opens the doors to young researchers of history, and we will be proud that their discoveries were presented for the first time right here”, said Elka Nedelcheva. She expressed the categorical support of the municipal leadership to the increasingly creative endeavors of the museum for the preservation and promotion of the cultural and historical heritage of the Razgrad region.

The readings began with the report of the archaeologist in RHM – Razgrad Dilen Dilov “40 years of the Abritus Archaeological Reserve”.
