On 29 June, the 60th anniversary of the founding of the “Robert Schuman” Vocational High School of Economics was solemnly celebrated at the “Razvitie 1869” Community Centre in Razgrad. The event featured a ceremonial address and a commemorative film.

Among the many guests were representatives of the Regional History Museum. The school and the Museum enjoy a fruitful cooperation within the Regional History Museum’s programme for working with schools to promote and foster knowledge of the region’s cultural heritage.

Earlier this year, three students from the school successfully completed the Museum Guide Training Programme at the Regional History Museum. On the occasion of the anniversary, Tanya Todorova, Director of the Regional History Museum – Razgrad, extended her congratulations to Eng. Hristina Pancheva, Principal of the Robert Schuman Vocational High School of Economics, wishing her and the school continued success in innovation and education, as well as many more years of fruitful cooperation between the Museum and the school.

Ms Todorova presented flowers and a congratulatory address on behalf of the Regional History Museum, highlighting the school’s significant contribution to educating skilled professionals for the region’s modern economy – since its establishment, more than 9,000 residents of the region have graduated from the Robert Schuman Vocational High School of Economics.
