The head of the “Administrative and Economic” department, Kalina Karbasheva, the museum pedagogue Hristo Hristov and the volunteer Nikoleta Petrova from RHM – Razgrad presented part of the cultural and historical heritage of Ludogorie at the VII “Ancient Balkan Land” (Terra Antiqua Balcanica) festival at the Ancient Ceramic Center near Pavlikeni.

Residents of Razgrad talked about the ancient Abritus – a city with a dramatic fate and some of the most impressive artifacts in the Northeast, about the lifestyle and culture of its inhabitants, and presented the opportunities for visiting the museum’s sites: the Interactive Museum, the permanent archaeological exhibition and the house museums.

In the tent, visitors could change into Roman clothing – civilian and legionary – with vestry, helmets and swords, buy souvenirs from Abritus, sip wine made with a 5th century recipe, and receive promotional materials from the museum.

“First Italian Legion” – Svishtov Historical and Antique Reenactment Group also participated in the festival. Master potters from different parts of the country and jewelers with handmade ceramic beads, pendants and various ornaments showed their works.
