The museum in Razgrad welcomes visitors with a special program on May 17 and 18
THE INVITATION IS ON THE OCCASION OF THE INTERNATIONAL MUSEUM DAY
The Regional History Museum in Razgrad will welcome children and adults in its sites with a special program on May 17 and 18 / Tuesday and Wednesday /. The initiative is on the occasion of May 18 – International Museum Day.
Within two days, visitors will learn about the main activities and functions of the museum, and through practical interactive classes will play the role of museum specialists – archaeologist, ethnographer, curator, researcher, restorer, custodian and guide.
On May 17, access to the ancient Abritus, the Interactive Museum and the museum’s archeological exposition will be free.
May 18 / Wednesday / is the day to visit the houses and museums in Razgrad: the Ethnographic Museum and the houses “Stanka and Nikola Ikonomov” and “Ananie Yavashov”.
The program for the International Museum Day will end at the Anani Yavashov House. At 5.30 pm is the ceremony of awarding the winners of the award in the name of Acad. Ananie Yavashov, and immediately after that will be opened an exhibition of finds from the flint workshop and necropolis in the village of Kamenovo.
