The mobile exhibition of the Regional History Museum about Grigor Popov – publisher of the longest-running newspaper in Razgrad before 1944, “Razgradsko Slovo”, was opened today at the National Vocational Technical High School “Shandor Petofi”.

“The presentation of the exhibition here is another event in the good cooperation between the high school and the museum”, said the school’s principal, Biana Todorova, at the opening. She recalled that on the eve of January 28 – Razgrad Day, a large group of high school students were at the Ethnographic Museum for the opening of the exhibition “Valor and Honor.”

Viktor Kostadinov from the “New History” department at RHM – Razgrad told the crowd that filled the corridor on the first floor of the high school about the man Grigor Popov /Grisha/ – son of Nikola Ikonomov and Stanka Nikolitsa Spaso-Elenina and a prominent public figure, theater actor, journalist and editor of the newspaper “Razgradsko Slovo”.
