After the extremely successful first edition of the educational program “From Egypt… to Scandinavia”, the Regional History Museum once again invites curious children from all Razgrad schools on an unforgettable journey through time and space.
“For the second time, we will open the door to antiquity, through which our little travelers will learn about the way of life, culture, gods and beliefs of ancient civilizations – from the mystical pyramids in Egypt and the legendary myths of Ancient Greece through the power of the legions in the Roman Empire to the Scandinavian Vikings and their ships in the far North”, said the author of the large-scale initiative, Hristo Hristov.
Through extremely interesting educational talks, interactive activities, and ancient board games played in the distant past, each participant will experience the history of the people who inhabited these lands in a different and unforgettable way.
The educational program “From Egypt… to Scandinavia” this year is three weeks long: from November 3 to 21. It will be held at the Ethnographic Museum, it is tailored to the curriculum in fifth and sixth grades, but groups from other grades will also be accepted upon request. Participation requires a prior request by phone: 0893 77 51 24 – Hristo Hristov, museum educator.
