The National Festival of Folklore Clubs “Kapanska Kitka” took place in Razgrad on Saturday, with dancers from 17 clubs in the country participating. This was the 16th edition of the festival with the participation of over 400 performers.

The organizers of the folk festival are the Municipality of Razgrad, the “Buzludzha 2010” Community Center and the “Abritus” Dance Club. The event is under the patronage of the Mayor of Razgrad Dobrin Dobrev.
The folklore dance clubs continued to compete throughout the day. They presented more than one dance, one of which was necessarily from the region from which the club is from. The festival does not have the status of a competition, but there were special awards for the participants. On behalf of the Regional Historical Museum, a special award was presented by the head of the “Administrative and Economic” department, Kalina Karbasheva. The prize went to the folk dance club “Petricha” at the “Dobrudzha – 1929” Community Center – village of Razdelna, Beloslav municipality, Varna region, led by Nikola Nikolov, who captivated the audience with their performances. Ms. Karbasheva presented the award, congratulated the leader and wished the club new successes in Bulgarian dance art.
