An unforgettable holiday was presented by the companies “Biovet” and “Ludogorsko pile” to the talents of the “Bulgarika” Dance Ensemble and the Dance Group from the “Iv. S. Turgenev” Primary School.

In the cozy courtyard of the Ethnographic Museum, the graduates of Rumen Ivanov and Julieta Ivanova, known from their regular participation in citywide celebrations, were welcomed by the director of the Regional History Museum, Tanya Todorova, who told them about the rituals and customs of the ethnographic group of Kapanci around the brightest Christian holiday, Easter, wished them many smiles and to take home the most beautiful and healthiest egg for the Easter table.

Before embarking on the magic of painting the Easter eggs, the talents danced the latest dances from their repertoire, and later, while waiting for a place to be freed up at the work table for them, they floated uninvited to the rhythms of Bulgarian folk dance.

For their diligence, everyone was treated to a delicious kozunak and took a group photo as a souvenir with the eggs they had painted.

The hosts from the Ethnographic Museum had prepared another surprise for their little friends – in the permanent exhibition, they learned many curious things about the traditional holiday calendar of the Kapan people.
