The Regional History Museum, in cooperation with the Municipality of Razgrad, challenge the children of Razgrad and their parents to clean the school desks of their no longer needed notebooks and any other old paper in their homes on the eve of the new school year.

The initiative of the museum specialists in the department “New and Recent History” “From forgotten pages to new opportunities” is, who wishes to hand over at least 2 kg of unnecessary paper to the house museum “Ananie Yavashov” on Tuesday, September 10. And just like in the popular folktale “Plums for Trash”, every girl or boy who accepts the challenge will receive a prize.

“Our idea is to remind the children to help mom and dad clean their rooms, and to tell them when they come to us how the recycled paper will be used to make new notebooks and school supplies, thus saving them from being cut down and thousands of trees”, says Prof. Rositsa Angelova PhD, head of the “New and Latest History” department at the Regional History Museum. She and her colleagues will expect those who responded to the invitation to hand in their old notebooks and other unnecessary paper from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10, at the Ananie Yavashov House Museum.
