In the coolness of the shadows, during the lunch break today, the museum specialists from RHM – Razgrad together cleaned the exhibits in the two lapidariums.

They are located in the space between the building of the Regional History Museum and the North Gate of the ancient Abritus. The action was necessary because of the vagaries of the weather in the last month and the transfer of dust and fine sand to the Balkans and Bulgaria from North Africa.

Today’s initiative was part of the museum’s preparation for the next edition of the festival of tangible and intangible cultural heritage “White Nights of Razgrad” on June 23 and 24.

On the first festival night, the events are hosted by the house museums in Razgrad, and the second is entirely on the territory of the “Abritus” Archaeological Reserve. Then in the Interactive Museum, the Valchitran Golden Treasure will be shown, and in Villa “Urbana” there will be the concert of the group “12 BAR”, followed by a light drone show.
