On the first evening of the festival of tangible and intangible cultural heritage “White Nights of Razgrad”, the house museums at the Regional History Museum were the most attractive place where events related to arts and culture took place.
The annual awards ceremony of the Center for Children’s Development and Youth Development Center for Children’s Work took place in the house museum “Stanka and Nikola Ikonomov”. Graduates of the Children’s Theater Troupe led by Petar Stoyanov performed an excerpt from the play “Scary Laughs” based on a text by Nedyalko Yordanov and charmed the audience, among which were many parents. The graduate of the “Audio-Visual Technologies” club led by Zhivko Zhechev – the seventh-grader from the “Nikola Ikonomov” Primary School Emil Tonev presented the project “House of the Spirit – House Museum “Stanka and Nikola Ikonomov”. The project has been nominated for the national stage of the Information Technology Olympiad. The Mayor of Razgrad Municipality Dobrin Dobrev also presented honorary plaques to the 14 high school graduates who achieved success and glorified Razgrad.

In the house-museum “Ananie Yavashov”, the attention of Razgrad residents was drawn to the exhibition “The Green Heritage from the Heart of the Balkans”, at the Natural History Museum in the village of Cherni Osam.
In the courtyard of the “Ananie Yavashov” museum, the famous writer Victoria Beshliyska met with her numerous admirers from Razgrad. Words lead to memories, open hearts, for the writer it is important to bring the word to life, Beshliyska emphasized. Every language has an aura, she shared her views. The writer’s admirers received autographs.
The events continued at the Ethnographic Museum – traditionally for Midsummer Day everyone passed under a wreath of herbs, everyone received a special wish related to the most popular herbs in the region. Later, in the first of the White Nights at the Ethnographic Museum, the Kapan Ensemble presented part of its newest dance “Legend of the Great Wealth”. The High School Dance Ensemble of the FTA “Abritus” also joined the program. The Midsummer Day ritual of jumping over a fire for health was also presented.
