Foreign delegations visiting Razgrad for the Yogurt Fair and the Festival of Folk Traditions and Crafts visited sites of the Regional History Museum – Razgrad on July 22 to learn about the past and historical landmarks of the region.
Delegations from Romania, Moldova and Turkey visited the Ethnographic Museum. There, the foreign guests were welcomed by the director of the Regional Historical Museum Tanya Todorova. She welcomed them and invited them to the hall to view the exhibition of the Panagyurishte Historical Museum “Goldsmithing in Panagyurishte – traditions and development”. The guests showed great interest in the exhibits – brooches, necklaces, earrings, as well as other gold exhibits, some of them filigree. The director of RHM-Razgrad Tanya Todorova presented the exhibition and the most interesting exhibits of Bulgarian goldsmithing to the visiting delegations. The guests walked around the museum area, received answers to questions of interest to them from the sphere of Bulgarian museum work, and visited the children’s workshop “First Steps in the Craft”.
Delegations from Turkey and Hungary, visiting the Yogurt Fair in Razgrad, visited the two museum expositions in the Abritus Archaeological Reserve on July 22. In the Interactive Museum, they received information about the research work in Abritus, and in the Archaeological Exposition, they got acquainted with the most valuable exhibits in the museum. The visits of foreign delegations to the sites of the Regional History Museum reveal to the world the achievements of the region and its interesting, unique history.
