The members of the Club of Veteran Athletes and Tourists “Golden Autumn” – Razgrad organized a collective visit to the visiting exhibition “Batak 1876 – Chronicle of an Immortal Spring”. The exhibition, arranged in the halls of the Ethnographic Museum in Razgrad, is dedicated to the approaching 150th anniversary of the April Uprising and is part of the festive program on the occasion of January 28 – Razgrad Day.
With great interest, the veterans examined the documentary panels and authentic relics provided by the Historical Museum – Batak. Among the exhibits that caused the greatest excitement were the personal weapons and belongings of the heroes who defended the honor of Batak in the bloody spring of 1876.
For the active members of “Golden Autumn”, the visit was not only a history lesson, but also an occasion to reflect on the strength of the Bulgarian spirit. “We, as tourists and athletes, value our freedom and nature, but they would not be the same without the sacrifice of these people”, participants in the event shared.
The exhibition will remain available to citizens and guests of the city at the Ethnographic Museum until January 23, 2026.
