The two-week educational program “From Egypt… to Scandinavia” finished, organized by the Regional History Museum for the children of Razgrad.
“We are proud to say that this was our most successful educational program. A record number of over 500 children passed through the exhibition hall of the Ethnographic Museum, who were transported back in time to discover the magic of four great civilizations – Ancient Egypt, Greece, Rome and the Scandinavian world of the Vikings”, says the author of the successfully implemented initiative – museum educator Hristo Hristov .
Through his talks, richly illustrated by the designer in Mihail Marinov, and guided by tour guides Svetlana James and Galin Donchev, curious young explorers touched mystical secrets, heard the stories of ancient gods and heroes, and learned how people of different eras created worlds filled with courage, faith and dreams.
Pupils from all elementary schools in Razgrad, girls and boys with special educational needs, graduates of personal development centers and eighth graders from FLS “Exarch Yosif” responded to the invitation for a trip to the past.
The museum specialists thank everyone who participated in this adventure and every little discoverer who now knows that history is not just the past – it is an inspiration for the future. And they promise more exciting meetings, where together they will reveal more ancient secrets and ignite the spark of knowledge in the curious.
