The volunteer activities of the children – participants in the program for environmental education of adolescents “Eco Summer 2026” continue at sites of historical significance for the city.

After a group of teenagers in the first shift painted the fence at the Stanka and Nikola Ikonomovi house museum, a second group of students visited the site on July 24. The participants in “Eco Summer”, together with their teacher, varnished the fence, and cleaned and swept the yard.

They collected the fallen fruit from under the trees and repainted the metal bars of the museum house.

The historical site was revitalized through the volunteer efforts of the participants in the “Eco Summer 2026” initiative, who were eager to develop practical skills while contributing to the preservation of nature, history, and cultural heritage.
