From November 1, the winter working hours for the museum sites come into effect
The Regional History Museum in Razgrad will close the active tourist season with several initiatives on October 30.
In the space in front of the permanent archaeological exhibition and in the Interactive Museum, visitors will be able to view the mobile exhibition “Museum Memories in 2024”.
The special program for closing the tourist season will start at 10:30 a.m. with a children’s workshop to learn the intricacies of one of the most ancient crafts – the processing of ceramics. The girls and boys will take home the vessels they have restored and colored themselves. They will also participate in the “Find the Exhibit” quiz game.
Until 6:00 p.m., all those wishing to explore the ancient Abritus will be accompanied and will listen to a free talk by a tour guide about the life and lifestyle of the Romans who once inhabited the city.
The museum reserves the right to change the program in case of bad weather conditions.
Day after the season closes – from 01.11.2024, the museum will switch to winter working hours, which will last until March 31, 2025. The sites in the Abritus Archaeological Reserve will be open to visitors from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Advance requests for visits on Saturdays and Sundays will be accepted until Thursday of the respective week at tel.: 0878901439.
