On Monday, April 20, in the “Bulgarian Warrior” hall in the Razgrad Military District, another initiative of the Razgrad Regional History Museum will be implemented on the occasion of 150 years since the outbreak of the April Uprising.
Educational lectures will be delivered by museum specialists Viktor Kostadinov, curator at the “Ananie Yavashov” House Museum in Razgrad, and Hristo Hristov, museum educator. The topic will be “Paths to Freedom,” dedicated to the April Uprising and Razgrad. Emphasis will be placed on the activities of the Fourth Revolutionary District, while also noting the indirect involvement of the Razgrad region through the revolutionary committee of Angel Kanchev. This lecture will be presented to students from several Razgrad schools – the Vocational High School of Clothing “Stanka Nikolitsa Spas-Elenina”, the National Vocational High School of Textile and Fashion “Sándor Petőfi”, the “Nikola Ikonomov” Primary School, and the Foreign Language High School “Exarch Joseph”.
On April 21, the initiative will continue in the same hall with a lecture for students from the Vocational High School of Construction “Hristo Smirnenski”.
The “Bulgarian Warrior” Hall at the Military District Office was opened last year, and the museum has an exhibition displayed there. On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the April Uprising, as early as January this year, the Regional Historical Museum – Razgrad presented a visiting exhibition from the History Museum – Batak.
