The first week of the summer museum-educational program “Adventures in Abritus” has ended.
The participants in it – 23 children from grades 1 to 5, received parting gifts and certificates for participation, presented to them by the director of the Regional History Museum – Tanya Todorova.

And the whole week before that was filled with unforgettable emotions and excitement, both for the children and for the museum specialists caring for them – museum pedagogue Hristo Hristov, designer Mihail Marinov, archaeologist Silvia Anastasova and tour guide Galin Donchev. The children got acquainted with the museum objects, with the power of ancient Rome, shot with a bow, fought gladiator battles, made their own helmets and swords, changed into Roman clothes, played sports and board games.

An interesting detail about the children’s interest in the museum’s summer program for them is the fact that out of the 23 children this week, 14 had adventures in Abrius last summer.

The adventures in Abritus continue in full force during the next /second/ week of the museum’s summer educational program.
