Over 400 children from all primary schools in Razgrad made their own Christmas decorations for the silent and holy night in the “Christmas Mood and Decoration Workshop” organized for them by the Regional History Museum.

For a whole week in the beautifully arranged hall of the Ethnographic Museum, under the guidance of museum pedagogue Hristo Hristov, designer Mihail Marinov, tour guide Polina Nedelcheva and Penka Dimitrova from the administrative and economic department of RHM – Razgrad, according to their age, they made models of dwarfs, colored Christmas balls, pine cones, plaster figures and made a model of Santa Claus out of yarn.

The children also had the opportunity to write and send a letter to the good old man with a story about their obedience, promises to be good next year, and to wish for an expected gift.

“I think it worked. With their inherent curiosity, the children wanted to learn more and more about the holiday, we told them about the messages and the place of Christmas in the family. And with enviable desire, persistence and a lot of imagination, they made decorations for the Christmas tree in their homes”, summarizes what happened during the week, the ideological father of the creative workshop Hristo Hristov.
