Regional History Center at the Regional History Museum in Razgrad was officially opened on the Day of People’s Awakeners.

The center is the successor of the “Local Lore” club, established a year and a half ago, and will develop its activities in the house museum “Acad. Ananie Yavashov”. There is already a special corner with all the editions of the Regional History Museum in Razgrad over the years. A special place is dedicated to the latest donation to the Center by the Municipality of Razgrad – a series of historiographical studies.

The guests of the celebration were the deputy mayor of Razgrad Dobrin Dobrev and the chairman of the Municipal Council Stoyan Nenchev, teachers from various Razgrad schools, students, citizens.

“The idea here is that those involved in researching the history, lifestyle, manners and customs of our ancestors in Ludogorie will have their own place to meet and develop their research. And the publications of the museum, as well as their local history works, should be accessible to a much wider range of people, given the free access to the house museum “Ananie Yavashov”, said the director of RHM – Razgrad Tanya Todorova in her welcome to the club members and guests.

We remind you that the “Local Lore” club was born on Museum Day in 2021, and the founders were 15 people – long-term researchers of the past of various settlements or the development of the region in a specific field in Ludogorie.
