The third, penultimate, week of the museum-educational program “Adventures in Abritus” ended today. It was dedicated to legions, gods and beliefs, archaeology, architecture and the market in the Roman Empire. With the help of museum pedagogue Hristo Hristov, designer Mihail Marinov, archaeologist Silvia Anastasova, numismatist Vladimir Bekov PhD and tour guide Galin Donchev, for five days the children were transported to antiquity: they shot a bow, made a catapult and a laurel wreath, built the columns of Abritus from plasticine, looked for treasures and were at a Roman market, where everything was offered and could be bought – from food, through household items, jewelry, to domestic animals and birds. And they participated in many different sports competitions.

At parting, each child received a certificate for their participation in the program and a backpack with the inscription Abritus.
