The collection “Doctoral, Postdoctoral and Local History Readings “Abritus” has been officially included in the reference list of scientific publications in Bulgaria and is registered with the National Center for Information and Documentation (NACID). With its inclusion in the reference list, the publication strengthens its role as an established scientific platform for publishing research in the field of history, cultural heritage, museology and related scientific fields.
The collection publishes reports, articles, studies and scientific works of participants in the annual doctoral, postdoctoral and local history readings held at the Regional History Museum – Razgrad.
On May 18, 2026, RHM – Razgrad will once again host the forum. During its work, participants will present their latest scientific research, discuss current problems and trends in the humanities, and exchange experience and ideas in the spirit of academic cooperation and professional dialogue. It is planned that the conference reports will be published in the next volume of the collection “Abritus”, thus continuing the tradition of popularizing the scientific achievements of young and established researchers from the country.
Particularly significant is that the readings create opportunities for meetings and active dialogue between young scholars, doctoral candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and established specialists. The forum encourages young people’s interest in exploring, researching, and preserving the cultural and historical heritage of the region by engaging them in real research practices and fieldwork. In this way, the event not only supports their academic development but also contributes to the formation of a responsible attitude toward the memory and identity of the local community, thus becoming a bridge between science, the museum, and society.
